ABCC attack "storm in a teacup" says judge

CFMEU Victoria Secretary John Setka responds to the latest failed attack from Turnbull's ABCC.

“Last financial year the Turnbull government spent more than 10 million dollars in its attack on construction workers."

"This latest attack saw four AFP officers called to a building site under the direction of the ABCC and two workers charged for simply having a cup of tea and talking about four wheel driving. The judge rightfully described the case as a ‘storm in a tea cup’."

"The working class of Australia would be much better off if the ABCC chased up wage theft, sham contracting and other safety short cuts that kill workers rather than this continued waste of tax payers hard earned money."

"Unions of Australia have really had enough and are united to ‘Change the Rules’."
