A worker in his 40s was tragically killed when crushed under a kibble due to mechanical failure of the crane.
Industry fatality policy to be implemented:
Step 1: Provide a report on the incident to workers on-site.
Step 2. Observe 1 minute silence.
Step 3: Full OHS audit of your site.
The crane involved is owned by Clark Cranes, the same company involved in the Richmond incident last month where a boom folded backwards in high winds.
